Like every other year RIB participated in the one month long national event called Ekushey Book Fair 2011, which commemorates the Bengali Language Day now known internationally as the International Mother language Day. Every year Bangla Academy organizes this book fair in its premises. This was RIB's 4th year of participation. RIB displayed and sold more than 150 of its monographs, books, and education materials of Kajoli Model School etc. This year's special attraction was the easy to read version of the Right to Information Act. Due to huge demand we have published the second version of this book. Other bestsellers were the previously published Land Law Made Easy and the newly published story books for children named 'Alibaba O Challis Chor' (Alibaba and 40 thieves) and 'Oz er Jadukor' (Wizard of Oz). RIB's monographs were the researchers' main attraction as before. This book fair lays the ground for interaction with RIB and other organizations, social activists, researchers and students. By this interaction with other like minded people RIB joins others in the fight against poverty and justice.
